Why is branding important?

• It clarifies your identity
• It makes you memorable
• Encourages others to trust you
• Supports your goals
• Helps people decide to align with you…or not

What is branding?

• B - blueprint: the master plan around someone’s experience with you. It should be delivered consistently across all areas of your life to help build trust and loyalty.
• R - relationship: the thoughts, feelings, and psychological relationship between you and others.
• A - agreement: your brand is your promise of what others will experience from relation with you.
• N - nature: a brand is the inherent nature of you; your personality, your character, your style. It is the emotional association of who you are.
• D - distinctive: branding makes you stand out from others. It is your own unique identity.

Ways to get clear about your brand:

• Share your perceived brand with others. See if it stands.
• Celebrate the things you feel promote you well.
• Get clear about the things you would like to change. We can’t change things unless we announce the problem. 
• Having a clear brand helps you stand confidently in who you are
